Joshua accepted Fury's financial terms and set a date for the fight
It looks like the champion, after resuming his career, will have to box with his compatriot.
The day before British boxer Tyson Fury, who decided to return to the ring, challenged his compatriot Anthony Joshua and even "fraternally" offered to share his as yet non-existent fee.
Joshua reacted promptly, agreeing to Fury's terms on the fee, but refusing to force the issue of the fight date.
Fury wanted to fight as early as possible, but Joshua said he wouldn't be ready until the end of the year. So, his offer is to fight on December 17, if it's okay with Fury.
As his promoter Eddie Hearn explained, this is the date that will be brought up in talks with Tyson's managers in the near future.
