Bellator CEO talks about the ruined career of talented fighter Dillon Danis
Once one of Conor McGregor's sparring partners had great hopes.
Bellator president Scott Coker told a cautionary tale of how a talented man can ruin his career.
It's about Dillon Danis, who Scott gave a lot of promises to and had a lot of plans for.
But his non-serious attitude towards the profession has led to the fact that today very few people remember him, and organizing big fights for one of Conor McGregor's sparring partners is out of the question.
"He's an incredibly talented fighter and we had high hopes for him. But if he wanted to compete at a high level, he had to act like an adult. He calls me, he tells me he wants to come back, and then he just disappears for a few months. I make appointments with people, but I can't reach him. That's not what professionals do. The result is that we don't have his name in our tops," the sports managers said.
At the same time, Coker promised that if Dennis gets his mind right and wants to get back in the cage for real, the promotion will work with him again and give him a chance to perform.
