The European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) issued a statement regarding the flights of Russians and Ukrainians to Europe.
She notified that the airspace of these countries will be closed to flights to European countries until 2029.
“We currently assume that the airspace of Ukraine and Russia remains closed until the end of the planning horizon (2029),” the TASS news agency quoted the message as saying.
According to Eurocontrol, the number of flights through Northern Europe from Asia has decreased due to the fact that the flights passed "through the south-eastern countries."
Separately, it is said that the air travel industry continues to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
