Kradan Island to be closed to tourists

Despite the fact that the island of Kradan is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, it will be closed to tourists for four months a year - from June 1 to September 30. It is reported by AsiaNews.

This decision was made by the Thai authorities in order to preserve the ecosystem of the island.

Residents, business owners and park officials will continue to make the preservation of the island's fragile ecosystem, including its coral reefs and marine life, their top priority.
